ACTIVITIES in the Devèze campsite

To enjoy fully your holidays.
Deveze offers you various fun or sports activities.

EVENING PARTY

The pleasures of water are the pivot of outdoor activities.
The swimming pools:
For adults and children alike, two pools are available as well as a smaller one to wade in .

Sunshades and deck chairs are at your disposal.

The lake

One of the assets of Devèze is its lake where one can practice fishing, canoeing, meditation, walks and sunbathing. The woods, having been left untouched for long, have turned into a real place of pure nature, inviting you to walk through it.

Angling
The lake lends itself to carp fishing. People have even fished 60 cm long specimens! In season, contests are organized.

Game of bowls:
The campsite offers 10 pétanque areas with benches for the audience. Once a week, a contest is organized for adults.

Archery
The campsite offers an archery area. It is free access to all adults, and children must always be accompanied by their parents as they remain their responsibility.

EVENING PARTY

Mini club
Open air activities, games and tresure hunts will be organized.
To take part, information will be provided on site.

EXCURSION

In the Gers region, visit castles, cloisters, historical villages as well as Armagnac Wine cellars, craftsman’s canning factories and duck and goose breeding.
Hiking excursions by foot, bike, on horseback, or even canoeing down the Baïse River.
Outside of the county, never too far away; excursions in the PYRENNEES, possibility for bungee jumps or water sports such as rafting on the Gave de Pau.
Visit of Lourdes and the principality of Andorra of Spain.
The ‘Space City’ in Toulouse is not far. Visit AIRBUS (do book way in advance, when still at home if possible).
It goes without saying that you will visit the castles, vineyards and Armagnac Distillers.
The Fleuran Abbey, being fully restored, attracts thousands of visitors every year with its art exhibitions. For instance in 2005, over 30 000 people came to admire Salvador Dali’s paintings and sculptures..
